Collective Outcomes

Recently I wrote about both topics of the need for and importance of physical health of the individual in response to daily function, collective need and emergencies.

Following that a large portion of the country spanning regions with different climates with a snow and ice storm we name Winter Storm Fern.

As weather patterns continue to increase in variability and volatility, we are seeing a drastic amount of increase in emergency situations and also heart attack and injuries from navigating and removing snow and ice. We are seeing across states children and adults drowning in frozen waters from slipping through ice, heart attacks from shoveling snow, avalanche rescues.

Now this isn't all avoidable but that is the point. If we are physically able for ourselves, we can help stay out of danger, if we prepare and train for emergencies, we can help others get out of danger.
